100% Hazelnut spread

Hazelnut spread on a piece of bread, that's my guilty pleasure! Adding my favourite cup of coffee and I'm enjoying the moment.

The amazing taste of hazelnuts ..hmmmm so delicious!! That delicious taste is comparable to your chocolate spread but without the chocolate.

If you go to the store nowadays, they ask you so much money for so little hazelnut spread while it's quick and easy to make it yourself. Moreover, my spread is made of 100% hazelnuts without sweeteners or any other preservatives.

So, all you need for this recipe are: hazelnuts, hazelnuts and more hazelnuts.

Ingredients (250gr)

  • 250gr hazelnuts (blanched)

Method

Bake the blanched hazelnuts on a baking sheet coated with baking paper in the oven for 10 min or until roasted.

Take out of the oven and allow to cool down. (10min)

Place the hazelnuts in your food processor and mix them until you get a smooth paste. This will take approximately 5min.

Pour the hazelnut spread in a jar.

Eat it with some bread & Enjoy!

Good to know

Did you only found unblanched hazelnuts? No worries. Bake them in the oven until roasted. Take them out, place them on a clean and dry kitchen towel and remove the skin by rubbing them in the kitchen towel between your hands. Mix them in your food processor until you get a nice and smooth texture.

Close it well and store it in the fridge or in a dry and cool place.

You can store it for a long time, as long as you close it properly after eating it.
